LYZ FOOD Support at Home Meal Delivery
LYZ FOOD delivers chef-prepared, dietitian-approved frozen ready meals to Support at Home (SaH) participants, designed to meet the nutritional needs and taste preferences of older adults. Our seasonal menu offers a variety of options, providing balanced nutrition while being convenient to store and reheat.
We partner with approved SaH Providers to make healthy meal delivery easy and cost-effective. The exact participant contribution depends on your Provider’s arrangement.
Cost allocation (subject to your Provider)
As your Support at Home (SaH) meal provider, LYZ FOOD offers ready-to-eat meals prepared by chefs and reviewed by dietitians, delivered straight to your home. With the SaH program, you may be responsible for a co-payment (often around 30%), while the remainder may be covered by your SaH subsidy.
Example of cost allocation
- The majority of the meal cost may be covered by your SaH Provider.
- The remaining portion is a co-payment determined by your Provider.

LYZ FOOD — Support at Home & Home Care Package FAQ
Q1: What is Support at Home (SaH) and when does it start?
Support at Home is an Australian Government program that replaces the former Home Care Package (SAH). It helps eligible older Australians live safely and independently at home.
Q2: If I’m currently on SAH, do I need a new assessment?
No. If you are already receiving services under SAH, your provider will contact you to review your care plan and sign new agreements to transition smoothly to Support at Home.
Q3: Does Support at Home include meal services?
Yes. It can include meal preparation and delivery. A participant contribution may apply, and the exact amount is confirmed by your SaH Provider.
Q4: I’m still under SAH. Can I order meals now?
Yes. You can continue ordering LYZ FOOD meals during the transition from SAH to Support at Home.
Q5: What’s the difference between Support at Home and NDIS?
NDIS supports people aged 7–65 with disability-related needs. Support at Home supports eligible older people (generally 65+ or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) to live safely and independently at home.
Q6: How do I confirm if I’m eligible for subsidised meals?
Your Support at Home Provider can confirm whether meal delivery is included and what your participant contribution will be.
Q7: Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No. While we may need to complete provider agreements to confirm eligibility and funding, you are not locked into a long-term contract and can stop ordering at any time.
Q8: What is Home Care Package (SAH)?
SAH was a Government subsidy program that supported eligible older people at home. It has been replaced by Support at Home, but many service categories are similar (personal care, domestic help, allied health, transport, meal delivery, and more).
